Training content

• Gathering information: complete error messages, logs (journalctl, dmesg), context (version, distribution, hardware)

• Formulating a search: keywords, Google syntax, exact errors, context

• Using AI: paste error messages, describe context, ask for diagnostic leads

• Interpreting answers: verify sources, test commands, adapt to your environment

• Practical cases: crash, service won't start, disk full, slow network, CPU at 100%, permission error

Tools

• Research: Google, DuckDuckGo, Stack Overflow, Arch Wiki, Ubuntu forums, Reddit

• AI: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, DeepSeek, etc.

• Documentation: man, info, --help, wikis

Goal

Be able to troubleshoot a Linux issue by combining web research and AI, then apply the solution autonomously.
